I believe racing happens on a RACE track. There are enough bad drivers out there contributing to accidents, higher insurance prices, and public endangerment. I love my evo, but I respect people more than a piece of metal, albeit, a WONDERFUL piece of metal. We don't need to give ourselves a bad name in the eyes of the public when it is so easy to find auto x or a drag strip. Just because we have fast cars doesn't mean we have to prove it at every red light.
It's not easy to find an autox or a drag strip, especially not in the winter. And wouldn't talking about how fast we can make our cars make someone more eager to see how fast their car is than some retard posting "I Pwned a civikk with naws man".

Actually capitalizing communism doesn't change the meaning. It's just that most communist states have been totalitarian and oppresive. I don't know why I said that though cause I'm on your side of this argument about posting rules.

Yes it does check the dictionary, anyways it's no big deal. Sticking on topic, the SRT-4 forum recently had a poll on their famous War Stories section. While so many people dissed the forums BS stories and personal insults to one another, the poll overwhelmingly voted in favor of keeping the War Stories. In the end, people just loved it because it was fun. Look I know I'm not the owner of this site, but this forum is called Site Feedback and Suggestions. I'm just expressing my opinion.

I'm sick of politically correct as*holes that like to sit back and point the finger! We all know street racing is not legal but just as many others have mentioned, we all drive over the limit now and then even if by 5 mph, it's ILLEGAL. So all of you PERFECT people out there pointing the finger know what you can do with that finger. I have the common sense to NEVER race on a busy road at a time when other people are remotely around and to safe limits. If I wanna go WAY over the limit, I take it to a drag strip or track. But to race to like 60 in a 45 when NO ONE is around is not going to hurt anybody. I will continue to hope for a street racing section, as long as people aren't posting vids. of something entirely reckless.
its true that street racing is illegal and kills people but so does alot of things, i dont mean like a street racing section where everyone goes wild and people are goin way over the speed limit, i just want to see how peoples cars run and most people cant do it because there are no tracks but we mod our cars anyways
41,821 people were killed in auto accidents in 2000. In 2000, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reported that police listed street racing as a factor in 72 fatal crashes. Does that seem like a big risk to you? It sure as hell dosnt seem like a vert great risk to me.
According to the U.S. National Weather Service, 73 people die from lightning strikes each year and hundreds more suffer life-debilitating injuries.
Statisticly More people die from getting struck by frigging lightning...

I think the major problem is that many of the members of this board are probably between the ages of 16-24. The older and slightly wiser crowd I am sure can control the urge to race at every redlight but I am sure you remember the old days. I know when I was 17 and got my license for the first time I did not back down to any car. I took many risks and I'm glad I'm alive to say that today.
I think the ban is for protection of the younger crowd. They are the ones who are less aware that life is not endless.
