i'll mod it and split them up, or i'm sure there are plenty of other people who could do it, such as yourself.

So whats the point?! How will the Beginners learn if they with other beginners? Everybody will be in the expert or advance forums. So what will be the difference. Beginners ask questions that may sounds stupid to other that are advance but they will learn. Keep the Forum like it is. There is no point in splitting when everybody is still going to go 2 the advance side to learn.

Anyone will be able to go there to learn, but they won't be allowed to ask stupid newbie questions.

There should be a mandatory application that new members have to go through. This will include overview of which exhaust to get (answer: They're all the same), who to get to tune your car, what the difference between a reflash and a standalone are, what cams to get, etc.

Hell, if we could just get some of these guys to do a search, the battle will be half won.

dude, i'm not saying people shouldnt be aloud in specific forums, even myself, maybe one day I may make a post saking some basic question i want advice on or something. So i'd put it in the beginners forum instead of the advanced, or if some newbie kid blows his motor up and want to know what pistons/rods to use, maybe he posts in the advanced section. its not to limit people to one forum or the other, its to break up the huge amount of threads we have in this forum where its hard to decipher new ideas from what kinds of exhausts people like

do you guys mean we could possibly have a forum that is something other than which bov/exhaust/IC should I get.

EvoM needs this in order to become something other than the standard ricer board it already has become....

... don't believe me? look at the majority of the threads....

I think it's a great idea. but as DSMotorsport said it will get cluttered beginner crap and would need to be moderated all the time.

Well good idea, but who says what topics are "advanced" and which are not? Who is qualified to post and who is not. Will a moderator have to preside over this forum like a judge 24 hrs a day? Are you nominating yourself as an "advanced" forum moderator? You are a relative newb to some in this industry -no disrepect, it's just a relative and subjective concept. A bit elitest and pretentious as well perhaps

All valid questions, but the idea is still sound. Why get caught up in these details when we could just "make it happen"? Like Steve, I am probably considered a relative newbie when it comes to "advanced" tuning, but I would moderate an advanced tuning forum like a hawk if I were allowed...
