Alright folks, I know advertising is annoying and can slow things down and blah... blah... blah....

Let me ask you a question! Would you rather pay for your membership to evolutionm.net? I mean they could charge everyone like $19.95 per month!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... I didnt think so!

Appreciate the fact that advertising will be prevalent in all internet forums (in the near future).

Do you guys have any idea what overhead expenses evolutionm.net has to shell out every month?

I mean come on, most of the vendors are here to help you guys!

Do you really think all mods decided this was good, or even knew these ads were coming? I'm sure half of them have already disabled them based on Tsurara's post. I'm sure one of them would sticky it.

Ill agree with that, but I must stick with my original position! Evolutionm.net has the right to sell advertising to who ever they wish!

The only way to end that (and it wouldnt completely) is to have paid memberships!

Best regards,

P.S. Bump Tsurara you have a point!

All business ventures are in business to make a profit. Do you make a profit where you work (Yes you do or you wouldnt have a job!)!

I understand your pain on the advertising issue, but you must accept it! LOL

They do have the right to sell advertising to anyone they want, but its just simply pointless to sell something like this. Vendors have their own forums, pay for advertising and banners, and get great business because of their visibility. But the banners cycle through on each page, etc. But now Intellitext/Vibrant comes along and gets advertisement on pretty much every page of every thread? I would not be happy if I was a registered vendor.

i dont see a mod staying a mod if he or she stickys a thread that completely contradicts the direction evom wants to go. so yes they might not like the advertisements, but if anyone of them wants to keep the title given to them by evom, then they wont promote this 'how to disable what evom wants to do'

Valid point made here! I am fixing to become a vendor and would have to agree with your point, but also would have to realize that as a vendor I signed an agreement with evolutionm.net. Therefore I can see what you are saying, but if evolutionm.net was within the confines of the agreement, then there would be nothing I could personally do about it!

I see the annoyance and feel the annoyance of the Intellitest/Vibrant! Hey, I wonder how much they paid to get that on here?
