Ok, I wasn’t gonna comment on this but fine…..here goes……

I have been a member of this forum from the beginning. Way before I got my 03 EVO I was reading up on this site on info so I could know as much about my car as possible so when I actually did mod the car I knew I was going in the route that suited my personal needs.

There have always been the “Evo Guru’s” on this forum. Since the beginning we have all seen names like Malibujack, Zues, Etc….. Those guys frequented these forums and had a wealth of knowledge that they happily shared with others that made this EVO forum a great and informative place. The Evo Guru’s have come and gone and there are new names on this site daily. Some of which know what they’re talking about and some who don’t know their elbow from their as_hole. I’ll be honest, there was a time when I posted here way too much cause I thought I could help people out and give advice and become a guru myself…..then one day I took a step back realized that when it really boils down to it I don’t know sh_t when it comes to the mechanics and the deep down intricacies of these or any cars for that matter. Now I pretty much stick to opinions and only answer questions when I am sure I know what I’m talking about.

Now that you’ve read my preface lets talk about Warrtalon. While browsing on the forum one day I came across his name on a post and I couldn’t believe what he had written. Then the next day I read another from warrtalon and again I couldn’t believe what he was writing.

I’ll sum it up like this. Warrtalon came on the forum out of nowhere and was the absolute rudest, meanest, and most negatively opinionated member I had ever seen. Like I said, he came out of NOWHERE. He put other members down left and right and I couldn’t believe it. It seemed like this 12 second driver had himself convinced that he was John Force. He reminded me of that guy everyone knows in college that talks all day long but as soon as someone would call him to step outside he’d be nowhere to be found (college wrestling and college drinking gave me a pretty good grasp on the difference between a big mouth and big *****).

But…I have to say that after some time and I’m assuming a few warnings Warrtalon did calm himself down. He has settled himself with his negative comments and although his tone is still harsh in some ways, he is nowhere near as bad as he used to be.

It’s common and acceptable to look up to the Guru’s. I remember reading Jacks posts and through his writing I and everyone else reading considered Jack to be a friend who was looking to improve the greater good of the EVO community. I personally pictured Jack as a pretty cool older guy who could enjoy working on a car with a six pack with the ability to bullsh_t for hours over nothing. Personally, that’s my kind of guy. And I think the community agreed. The difference with Warrtalon is that I don’t picture that same kind of guy. When I think about Warr I think of that high school teacher that I used to really really REALLY want to throw my textbooks at. Kind of like a nerdy, in-your-face know-it-all. But I don’t know him and could be completely wrong. All I’m saying is that in his writing his voice is not the same as the majority of people on this forum.

My main point is this….Even though many of us might not like warrtalon, we all have to keep in mind why he’s here. He obviously spends way WAY too much time on this forum than most of us but it’s for a reason. He answers hundreds of questions for tons of members and although many of us would like to disagree, The man does know his stuff about EVO’s. So what I’m saying is, even though you might not like the way he words his posts, we need to keep aware on why he is here and the original motive.

Warr only made fun of my car cuz i gave it a name.. but he did help me out, but then again he could be Rude at times.......ionno havent been a member as long soo i really wouldnt know, but when i became a member i knew straight from the BAT that Warr was someone too recon with if you made a stup*d thread you know he was gonna say something rude. But then again he knows his **** and he does help alot of people... soo LETS STOP THE DRAMA and continue and drop this **** already... oh yea this THREAD goes in the bOOKS though hahahahhhahhaahah

If you get nothing out of it then why push the products so hard? You are either getting paid, or are getting compensated in more than you are letting on.

Your attittude to others sucks and you down people whenever and wherever you can.

So many people are being helped by war because a lot of others that would have helped have chosen to leave the board or not say anything because of him and people like him.

There are countless times that he has done exactly what was outlined in the first post.

If you were an outstanding reputable person, most everyone on the board would believe so and your reputation would proceed you in a positive manner however, it proceeds you in a negative manner no matter how many people you help or believe that you have helped. You appear to hide behind the fact that you have done so much for the board when in all actuality you have done nothing but detract from the community and board that Mark worked so hard at keeping a happy family.

In the future I can only hope that people see you for who you really are.

I can remember when you started talking smack about Jose's car and trying to discredit his times and numbers and then when you found out it was Jesus's brother you changed your tune. LMAO he told you he would pull the head off of the car to prove that it was still a stock block and head; only at your expense, then you backed off cause you knew you were wrong.

Dont get me started on the numerous posts that were deleted somehow.

Yeah, Steve, nice sniping when the opportunity arises. More slanderous things that would never be allowed anywhere else on the forum at any other time, but since it's in this thread, you get to spew whatever you want. Saying that I only am able to help people because the real helpers chose to leave the forum is downright absurd. Luckily, the hundreds of people I've helped know better and are why I will continue helping despite your false accusations and claims.

BTW good leaders dont have to keep re-interating their accomplishements 100 times a day, people just know.

You want respect act like you deserve it and it will come, act like you do and you will never be respected no matter how much you do, good or bad.

 

i have to agree with steve.......it's very hard to believe you're not getting a kickback from buschur on your staged packages.......common man....we all know how business works.

Where is the Slander? Im confused. Nothing I said was injurious to your reputation; you have done that on your own. Do you think for a minute that you would be singled out if you were never rude, or if you have never insulted anyone on this board. You make your self out to be someone that helps little old ladies across the street and bakes cookies for the elderly.

Geez take your medicine and learn something from it, its been a long time comming.

If he responds to a post, and you don't like him, DON'T READ WHAT HE WROTE!!!!!

^ interesting 04 evo i went with the same way of thinking just as you on another thread with WR on how bov's are getting annoying and how a FAQ should be made etc...he told me that my "passive approach is very disconcerting" and then asked if i was a democrat...god bless shawn hannity.You remember don't you warrtalon how would you comment on 04 evo way of thinking.

 

the only thing we need now is a tie vote, someone to set down a judgement, both sides to be disappointed in the decision, and have nothing accomplished by this whole thread.........oh wait......we dont need ANY of this to happen to have nothing accomplished by this thread. it is soo far past that now. and i am glad to add to the craziness.

this also reminds me of when people call in to the election polls to say that they are undecided. did we really need you to call and tell us that?
