I confess that I laugh at some of the things that Warr says ................. because it's usually close to what I'm thinking too.
Yeah he's hard on some of the "ricee-er" posts, but I have never thought he was totally wrong. I've disagree with a few things, but then again I've met him and talked with him at a practice event.
He doesn't come off rude at all, as a matter of fact some of the other (Evo) drivers were more aloof than he was ... and most of them had nuthin'.
He adds alot to the community, a few members may have learned to think (AND SEARCH) before they post (I know I have just from watching things). Because of him , some guys have even probably pulled some useless crap off their cars (and sold it to some other noob :-D
He gives no quarter and expects none. He's all business at the track when I met him, but not too busy to help others.

I agreed with the kid regarding the issue that alot of negative feedback is given to this forum from other people. It is not just Warr, its other people who instead of helping out, they just start to bash people. I mean come on you guys, you were also newbies too. The "search" thing is getting old and also the venting is bov issue is also getting old. If someone wants to vent, let them and if they want to know how to do it, let them and if they wish to know how then tell them how. Its their car and they ain't hurting you right? Stop being **** to all the newbies. If you ain't going to answer the question, then just don't say anything.
just a thought....everyone started out as a Newbie in anything.....and the the style uses to teach ppl in contrcutive critizim(sp?)......and some ppl cant take it....simple fact...i dont think WAR says things just to be an a$$hole. (if u do war then let us know). i could type more but i just got outta class and feel lazy

They met a guy that took time to tell them about racing and then took his division, while scaring the hell out them both (as they rode along), as well as a certain Vette (LOL).

Luckily, I got the opportunity to do the same thing at PMI, except this was for an entire 20-min session. In fact, it was the niece of another guy who was at the same auto-x in the same class lined up a few rows down. Instead of her riding with him at PMI, he had her ride with me to get some real thrills. She had the same grin on her face as your boys - I love doing that.

I disagree with the OP. Even though I don't post that much, I have been reading a LOT of posts and have seen warrtalon's posts. Personally, I don't see how he is "shoving packages down people's throats". Go search for yourself, he simply SUGGESTS to get that package because it is the most efficient way in his opinion. It's obvious that warrtalon has a LOT of experience when it comes to drag racing. S***, his evo is even known as the 'Warrtalon Evo', because of his great times with so many stock parts.
Yes, his comments can be blunt, but its the only way it can get through people's dumb heads. Kinda like telling a girl that her new short hair looks bad when it really does and she goes to change it. Better to know than to unknowingly look ugly.
I see Warrtalon as the Tom Leykis of evom. Blunt, straight up, FACTUAL, and straight up knows his s***
