how do I become a Mod is this a "Democracy" or do I mean "Dictatorship"

 

we had a supermod on one of our music forums that accidently deleted half the sections. It was pretty funny until 2 weeks later after the servers kept crashing the site owner just gave up and closed the site.

(thankfully we got it up and running again a month later )

ok I think that is a fair way to go about it. Do they do this once a year or when ever it comes up?
