I've listened to everything his said. I even went back and read the post that lead to this on being created.

What he wants is against our rules and practices. (refer to last thread)
What he also claims (petitioning to become a mod) is wrong.


I've offerred to give him the name of the dude that can get him videos, which is his main gripe.

Again, you can't petition to become a moderator. You can try to become a moderator, and then be a PART of what goes into the site.

And, like blonde stated in your old thread... we don't allow anything on street racing, for mulitple reasons. I'm not going to post them here again, because you can still og and veiw that thread.

Like I said man I know its ruff, and your never gonna make EVERYONE happy with every decision, thats life in an "enforcement" position. The key is to be FAIR and equatitable {SP} and IMO thats what some of your mod team lacks in certain instances.

 

honestly some of you guys are acting like its a country club where you pay to be a member or something, you guys dont pay jack **** to be a member here. so why should you have say in it?

Its just sad that I have to jump through hoops to get it. Now I'll have to wait for that guy to get back to me, have him give me the link or send it to my email, etc.

I'm into, faster smarter quicker and it seems a lot more logical and easier to be able to post them, instead of go behind everyones back and PM it to them.

If I relate this to real world it would be eactly like NOT speeding when the officers are around because that would be "illegal" and I would get "caught". But If I were to speed with officers not around, and not get caught, whos there to tell me I've done something illegal? Thats exactly like asking someone via PM for the link to their race video. I cant ask them to post it with everyone looking.... but they can give it to me behind everyone elses back. On one end you guys are supporting it, but on the other end your not.

 

While the member base doesnt DIRECTLY pay they do infact play a major role. The vendors pay to advertise...if there are no members here who do they advertise too???? Everyone is part of the process that makes a forum of this size work.

The guy that used to post video's here posts on a ton of other sites. Heck, I think most of his stuff he gets from You Tube or something.

And besides, if you are looking for videos why not try a VIDEO site, one that you know doesn't have a rule against street racing? That's your smarter, quicker and faster solution

Last I checked, the current owner is the brother of the original owner. So yeah, I could kind of see him honoring his dead brother's wishes.

You have it wrong. We don't support it. One person said he'd give you the info a guy who might have what you want somewhere else. It's like if you bring your car to a shop for an illegal mod and the mechanic says "no, I won't break the law for you. But if you really are set on breaking the law, this shop will." We aren't endorsing it, but we're still trying to help you.

If you start a business and have certain rules, I'd like to think your brother would keep those rules if he took over the business. That's all I'm saying.

I'm not saying that Mark's life wish was to start a Lancer/Evo board, have it become HUGE, and then ban street racing videos just to ruin the life of boostedwrx.
