yeah, I've read that thread before and don't want to read it again.

Hold them to hight moral standards? Why? Because they are moderators? They aren't paid and they aren't elected. We can say they have to follow the rules of the forum like the rest of us but when they are attacked they will get upset. Look at the first post in the thread you linked up. Regardless of what was said in the second post or any thereafter the mood is already set. No matter how many days go by between posts the OP set the attitude for the entire thread. If you **** me off, and we part ways upset (you not being a friend of mine) I will be upset with you the next time I see you. Same deal here. If someone is pissed off or offended by something that is said you can't expect them to behave as a moderator, you have to expect them to behave like a human. None of the mods said anyone was an assh0le, or that there mom wears combat boots. They stated opinions that had emotion in them.

lol, yeah that is because he punks them like he has me a couple times...

anyway this IS a Forum...you are always taking a chance. if someone gives you some advise on a Mod you want to do....POST a new thread and see what everyone else thinks...or write BR or AMS etc. i do all my own research.

I am glad you were able to see my opinion, and that of the moderators. I think we can still be friends I do think that you are expecting too much from EvoM and the people involved in it's operation.

blonde, let me know how that ignore thing works. I have been curious as well. Can you UNignore someone?

Wow...even the moderators act this way....im out... personal attacks...that should be a rule.

Lame

Blonde, I don't want to argue with you, I'm just saying it doesn't make sense that the leaders of this site (all mods and admins) should say things like this. Its not needed and should be considered .

's for everyone...

Dan, I know that you are saying, but there should be a standard...I know I expect too much from humans ... maybe I was just taught respect at a young age. (Or maybe it's because of all this damn sun in California)

I'm going to walk now, I hope others find your responses to the original thread useful like I did.

This is a much better way to say this than
Wow...even the moderators act this way....im out... personal attacks...that should be a rule.

You are only as smart as people perceive you. Not to say you are a dumbass or your mom wears combat boots but if you show intelligence in ALL of your posts people are more likely to listen to you, and see your point of view.

This is really my point all together in this thread. It took only the title of the thread you linked and the fifth post of this thread for the OP to show they are not willing to discuss the ideas, just spout their opinions.

I am trying to be civil, and have swayed your opinion doing so. I hope you see the logic in this, as you should since your opinion was able to be changed.

coffee BREAK man, coffee BREAK

I can't even do my job with less than 5 hours a night for more than one night in a row, too dangerous. I can't imagine how you can work effectively like that. Unless you make pancakes for a living, which would be hard with coffee and paperwork in the way.

now, that Dan quoted computerguy, i can see what he actually said so:

computerguy,

i see your point and i do agree that mods should at least try to lead by example. i hope that you understand that we are also human we do make mistakes and take things personaly. just like any other person, we do not like being attacked and it is even harder for us because we are being attacked for something that we do for free out of the kindness of our hearts and our desire to help. as long as you accept the fact that we can not be professional all the time and even we have opinions that we wish to express, everything is cool with the world.

let's put this crap behind us and simply move on, i will have another coffee for you

cool man, glad to see the situation calm a bit. I don't like interweb fights, it makes everyone look retarded. I need a jpeg library, because there is an awesome pic of a retarded kid with a caption similar to that statement somewhere in OT that I can't find. It's funny as hell.
