I have a suggestion that's related to this. Would it be possible to put a time minimum as well as the post rule? It seems that as soon as people hear about the 50 post rule all they do is post in random threads to get their count up.

 

I wasn't able to post until in the f/s section until my 51st post.

 

It has been rather annoying for me as well, but I figure in another couple years I'll have enough posts to actually participate in the for sale threads...

 

Actually we do have a 30 day minimum along with the 50 posts.

Once you get to the milestone of 50 posts, please allow the system to update your account. If you get caught circumventing this rule, your account will be suspended (as indicated in the rules, for you members that have actually read it). That's pretty much it.
