50 post is a bit much

hey admins dont you think 50 posts is a bit much????? i have been a member on here for quite sometime now (oct 2006) and yet to have hit 50 postings.
im a member NASIOC.COM, tamparacing.com, teckademics.com, maxima.org, and so on. i have bought parts from several vendors that are on here . i dont have a need to post up ever little BS question i could think of .

i cannot think of 50 different questions to make 50 different post about about my evo ???????????????????

if i had to come up with that many questions about my evo

that means:

1. i dont know what im doing.
2. i broke something because i dont know what im doing
3. i dont know what im doing, so lets ask someone else only to get answers from people whom know"MAYBE" as much or less than what i already know.
4. and few know more than I do about drive systems, suspensions, and aerodynamics

5. i just cant see having to destroy my car or being a "EVO FANBOY!!!!" to make 50 postings and argueing with people on threads that dont even count as postings..

please make some changes to the rules because i have been on this forum for almost a year and still have very limited access. a 10 - 20 post min would keep the spammers away.

You can spend some time in Show & Shine. People like to hear how good their Evos look.

that's the precise reason they have these rules. it's not just 'spammers' and the like. there are other reasons, for instance, random people signing up, posting in the FOR SALE forums and ripping off fellow Evo & Lancer owners. And not every person who asks a question doesn't know what the hell they're doing with their car. Some people just want opinions, or are curious about something they never noticed before.

50 min post = f0r scam, spam & noobs.
now stop being selfish and go use your evo knowledge [that you claim to have] and help some other people out. Eventually, it will pay off.

Its just posting right? ... It doesnt mean you have to start 50 threads. I to am trying to meet my 50 posts as I have a part to sell...

just jump into a few forums where people need help / opinions about their cars.. that will often bring about some good topics where your two cents may come in handy =)

Agreed. 60,000+ members here seem to get along fine within our rules structure. Being a contributing member to our community is what we encourage; the 50 post rule goes a little way to achieving that goal along with offering a bit of protection to our members.
