Can there be a rule in the market place that if an item is sold or a group buy/sale is over that the first post must be edited to reflect that staus. If possible in large bold letters. I know the mods are busy so locking all those threads would not be feasible.

I don't know if they will necessarily make it a "rule", but it is a good suggestions for the marketplace. That way you don't have to read through all the posts to finally be dissappointed lol.

 

yeah i hate that. you find a thread with the part your looking for then to find out its sold.

It's a great idea, and I REALLY wish more people did that. But since we don't actually know when something is sold, we can't force them to update. And we can't spend all day yelling at the lazy folks who don't do it.

Best we can do on all these marketplace suggestions is make a posting guidline sticky at the top of each section with rules. Most people wont read it, but maybe it will help

 

This would be good enough as I realize it's too much to ask the Mods to police. It would be great if the guideline stated to completely delete the original post and replace it with simply "SOLD". Also we as readers can kindly remind the op of the guideline. Thanks for your attention on the matter.
