Innopropriate comments about fatal evo accidents.

I am tired of people saying things like "there goes my insurance" "it was his fault" "he deserved it" have you no respect? It should be a forum rule that there should be no comments like these in threads that are related to a evo accident whether the driver lived or died was his fault or not. This absolutly makes me sick to read these remarks!! These are peoples sons, fathers, brothers and we are either making there mishap a punchline or calling them a dumbass. BAN!!!

Here is an example:

well who's fault was it? if he was driving the car, then I don't know who else to blame. I don't think my insurance should go up either for some punk kids stupidity.

Thats not the point, just the simple fact someone died, and the percieved lack of respect related to a fatal incident, I think thats the point OP is trying to get across.

^ exactly what I am trying to say that if your best friend died in a street racing accident would you tell your other buddies that it was his fault and that he deserved it because he was racing? No, you would not you would be greiving and very upset. It is the same on the internet, this was someones friend, son and maybe a father. He did not deserve to die. We should all be supportive because maybe he is a member on here and his friends and family read the thread were looking for comfort on how we supportive not calling him a retard and what not.

I don't have a brother, but the rest of my family is smart enough not to do stupid stuff like that. My point is, accidents happen all the time and people die every day, what difference does it make if you don't even know them. Why bring yourself down. You can't feel bad for everybody. I give my deepest sympathy for him and his family, but I am just saying that you take that risk for driving wrecklessly.

And I disagree and I will not censor the thread in question, nor will I ban or give points for expressing views within the current rules structure.

As in that thread these things tend to work themselves out. The overwhelming majority of that thread was positive.

Hi,

Giving you points is pretty easy, however, you have been on this site a long time and I was surprised by your reply. You're welcome to disagree and voice your opinion, however, telling a mod to go to hell isn't the smartest thing to do. Please calm down and rejoin the conversation. And if you want the points, let me know.

true. you're always going to get those people who are just screwed up in the head that lack major tact. everyone makes stupid mistakes. doesn't mean they deserve to die for them.

good thing for rules. Because if we were to voice our opinions about a mod we would get the boot

agree'd.

If you were killed in a similar accident Speedlimit, would you like for the people on the forum calling you names or making rude remarks about it? I find it offensive that people on here would say stuff like that about someone who was killed. That hitting below the belt. Period. Granted Baning is a lil on the extreme, but removing the post(s) that are negative should be seriously considered by ALL of the mod's on here.

By all means Im not trying to pick a fight, but I agree with the OP.

This is really bothering me, as you can tell and my emotions got the better of me. Some of the comments are so disrespectfull in the threads that it makes me not even want to be apart of this forum anymore. I though EVOm was alot more grown up than what I have been reading and I can not beleive the mods are allowing some of the stuff to be said.
