This site has gotten retarded

I just posted a thread not more than 5 minutes ago...

it was asking advice about a situation and what the board thinks should happen.

all names, manufacturers were anonymous and it was removed....

did we all of a sudden become a dictatorship ?

If the mod who removed it could please shoot me a PM and explain to me why my thread was removed .... i violated NO forum rules by posting it.

you are surely right...

i just cant see how or why they removed it, everything was left anonymous.... absolutely NO details were given concerning individuals, companies, customers anything....

Its almost as this site has ceased to exist for the the community and is here for the vendor

i noticed that as well... from time to time it does that to me.

this situation has me so heated right now

censorship is one thing, and i had i been vendor bashing, i could understand, i left it anonymous and open just for that reason

Definitely curious . . . I'm willing to bet that they're trying to protect the name of the vendor until they can respond to their own questions. While the members are all fairly aware of the no-no's as far as posting is concerned, I have no idea what the stipulations are for vendors that have misrepresented themselves, or have disenfranchised their Evom customers. There might be some kind of process going on behind the scenes. Or, it could be that there are no justifiable public consequences that the Mods on this site have the ability to enforce upon a crooked vendor --- purely for legal reasons. I have no idea.

All I can say is that if I were in your shoes, I wouldn't let my buddies put their finances at risk by dealing with the same company. Not telling them would be the same as not telling the neighborhood parents that a child molester just moved in down the street. Exposing the danger protects the whole neighborhood.

any vendors are one thing, vendors who basically commit fraud should not be vendors on this site.

Scammers go where the money is, and Cars are a HUGE MARKET for potential scams.

The sad thing is before i bought the evo i had never been scammed on car parts until now... weather its vendors or just regulars the scammings gotta stop.

honestly, he isnt really a scammer.... he is a what is considered reputable vendor on this site. Ive heard of other situations where he has been shady, but not to this extent... as i said, this is basically fraud. I hope this hasnt happened before, but if you do it once.....

This goes for vendors as well. There's a ton of great companies out there that will suffer from the silent customer expectation of getting ripped off if they place an order online. I would think the other vendors would want to see this situation resolved for the sake of Evo parts sales as a whole.

Just sad, really.

I think you need to read this: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=247259

Basically if you are having an issue with a vendor we need to step in initially. The reason for it is to weed out the bogus claims because we get alot of them. Now I don't know what exactly happened with your situation but I think if you follow the list in the thread I just linked then you have a better chance to resolve your problem. After we helped and the vendor is still at fault then you can post your experience so others know, but until then please follow our process. In the end it will help get your issue resolved faster. It also helps us keep track this things in a more organized manor.
