Still doesn't solve the issue of browser identification via user agents. Pretty much all proxies pass them along from your device to the host.

 

It doesn't solve it, but this is just a temporary fix until it does get solved. I mean even though my iphone is unlocked/jailbroken this is way easier than doing what you mentioned above.

 

It's only a fix depending on the proxy you find. It most cases, it does not fix it.

 

ok, forcing everyone with a mobile device to use the full sire does NOT fix the issue here, we just want an equvilant to the old (pre IB) mobile site, and iPhone users to be on the regular version. If the previous owners of EvoM could figure it out, i'm sure IB can.

being forced to load the full site on my phone sucks ***, takes way too long for pages to load, and who cares about avatars?? go back to the new mobile version till its fixed, iphone owners can shuvit!

 

??? Iphone owners can shove it? New mobile version? Everytime i get onto EVOM on my phone it goes to the mobile site and than i cannot log in. If i could log in than i guess it would be okay for me, but i can't. I liked it better when it was normal. I like it just like i'm on my laptop but just on a phone. I mean your point is good and i hope they do it like that.

I own an iphone and I LOVE the mobile site. It's super quick and I just need the texts anyways! If you want/need images you can click on the image link. Just because some ppl are complaining doesn't mean everyone with an iPhone is...the people who are satisfied never comment on this stuff...

Please bring it back!

 

Hells no! The mobile version on the Iphone sucks! The old version was much better and much easier to navigate! Also, its quicker on my phone. So there

 

They're working on making it so mobile users can get to either site. Don't worry, I won't let them forget about it, since EvoM's main page is too long for many mobile users, including myself.

 

I'd say as of right now force mobile. Iphones don't make up the majority of phones. I'm on a g1 without 3g because of where I live and I can't do ****. Same with blackberryes, sidekicks, etc.

 

so, any update? at least change the mobile version back, then work on getting the iPhail owners their version.

 

Go to User CP > Edit Options and disable "Show Avatars". Should help.

 

I have a Blackberry Storm and it works perfectly. I thought it would be the same for the iPhone. Well AT&T is garbage so im not suprised. But i do love macs.

 

I have yet to try this but on my phone there is an option for not showing pictures that helps a little.
I want the mobile site back .

 

I'm with ya GDS.....Modding was so much easier with the old mobile site, this new format is very frustrating.
