I don't mind the mobile site at all really, I just want the option to not use it. I mean for the past year I've been browsing the full site just fine with the help of my uber-phone. I just want my old evom back!

 

Seems like the only people that are complaining are using newb phones.

This *is* the fix. Having to load the full version of the site on a phone is pointless. A mobile site is about speed and ease of navigation, not about flash ads and tons of pictures. If you don't want the mobile version, go get on a computer. I am extremely happy they *finally* brought back the mobile site, my only complaint is that NO pictures show, you have to click on a link, if a thumbnail of the pic was shown, it'd be good. Literally my only complaint.

 

Well that's just awesome that you're extremely happy! I'm not happy on the other hand... Your opinions about how I should utilize the site are just that your opinions. My phone never had a single problem loading all the pointless flash ads that you obviously don't want me to be subjected to. If I should go get on a computer, then maybe you should get a phone that can handle the full site. You see how that works when someone tells you what to do? Sucks doesn't it!

 

I'm having trouble logging in. I have a plam treo with windows mobile and using mobile IE. I can get the login screen but once I log in I get a not found error page. I have cleared cache and cookies and still have the same issue. This looks like an issue that was never resolved since I had this same problem a while back too.

 

I was having this issue when they first switched over to just the mobile site. You can get around it by searching for evom through google. Once it comes up click on community, after you go into a thread you will have the option to log in on the bottom of the page.

 

Thanks for the info, I was having the same exact problem. The mobile version is horrible and it doesn't appear to be any faster than the previous version. It actually appears to be a tad bit slower (I have a Blackberry 8320) when trying to view pictures. Can we have the option of which version we would like to view from our phones somehow?

 

Ahh it's a bit faster when pictures aren't involved but it still sucks IMO. On a brighter note my production numbers at work will probably increase a bit now thanks to this

 

Yeah, I'm not liking this mobile version. I keep getting these errors. So now I have too go thru google. The full version was so much better.

 

I've got a G1 and all I want is a full site option like all the iphone guys. When I'm 2g, 3g, wi-fi it all works just fine for me. I miss the full version

 

Oh wow. Just logged on using my Google Ion and boom. Mobile site is back. I feelz happy inside.

 

what happened to the friggin mobile site?!?! it just came back up now it's gone again!!!

This is great!! Im back on mobile!!! I dont know what other issues everyone is having, but I think the mobile version should be, ...."lost".....
