I want to use this as my new avatar but it's to big.

 

I think SIGPICS would be a good idea if you keep the size limit reasonable. Then you get to see the Car without trying to find the members ride

 

or you could upload pics into your garage, and then just have people click on your avatar.

 

I'd like to see 100x100 pixels, 20KB limit and animated gifs allowed. RobertK should understand why animated gif avatars are fun. <20KB will keep the crazy animations from bogging people down.

Leave the limits as they are and no pics should e allowed in the signature. That's one of the reasons why I like evom, it's so clean.

 

I'd agree about the signature, I think its clean. I'm just asking for some more freedom for creativity with our avatars.

 

I choose them, and they deserve every perk they can get.

Robert's avatar is pretty violent.... Even NSFW... Jeez, mods get away with A LOT. I can see that pic being banned elsewhere.

Do what S2ki does and have the sig only appear once per thread per person. That way it doesn't wind up too cluttered.

Not sure why they're disallowed, but RobertK is the only person who has one, and that's only because he never changed his avatar once they were disabled. If he were to try to change to a new one, it wouldn't be animated.

 

IMO 100x100 is pretty reasonable, but 75x75 works. Sig pictures are a pain in the rear, unnecessarily slow the site down, and are ripe for abuse. Every site I'm on that allows sig pictures, I turn sigs off - which isn't an option for me here.

I actually like this, and implemented it on another vB site I moderated. Cuts down on clutter a bit.

 

I am sure its a tedious job to babysit the forum, and I do agree with their perks, that's y I am so jealous and wondering why can't users have animated avatars like robertk's ... just a thought... im sure u have ur reasons.....
