The term "Profanity" needs to be defined
I 100% disagree with the "no profanity" rule here, however I plan to respect it.
BUT, you have a serious problem with your definition of the word "profanity". The problem is, it's not defined at all in your rules.
What exactly is profanity to you, vs me? IMO, there is no such thing as profanity, so honestly there's nothing that falls under "profanity" for me.
Now, if you want to define the word profanity, then maybe you can enforce that. But when I type a word like this "****" that's not profanity, because it's not even a word. Besides, the actual word I'm going for, isn't considered profanity to me.
What about all the other words that some people consider to be profane? like "***"
I applaud you for having such a thorough set of rules in place, however you have failed in providing an accurate description of the terms used within.
I appreciate you taking this matter very seriously. I'm not trying to be a pain, but I was told by a mod not to use profanity. So I go and try to define the word profanity so I know what it is to you, and it doesn't exist. Help us all out.

I agree with you all the way. **** and A$$ and even B!tch are used all over. Either way I really believe that this Forum really sucks in many ways. Profanity? Suck me. I go to other forums, where people have Exotic cars and stuff like that and they can post it. Also who the F**k is making up all these gay rules on here can suck my D!ck
Are you seriously crying because you can't use profanity?? Are you so ignorant that you can't come up with another word?? People like you are the cause of our generation getting more ignorant.
i agree, its sad when a persons vocabulary is limited to such simple words to define meaning in a subject.

To the OP: Many in this thread have given examples of profanity, and even a moderate grasp of the English language should be able to provide most members with what is and is not acceptable. We have a swear filter to assist those that cannot watch their language and we have not added any new words to the filter recently, which is to say we've been very consistent with this policy.

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Find better ways to say something. Swearing is not one of them.

It the swear filter normally blocks it - its a no-go word.
