Question about Off-Topic

What is the point of an Off-Topic section if you cannot go off-topic in the threads? Seems to be a bit backwards, no?

There are 2 off-topic areas.

New Off-Topic -- related but unrelated threads on cars, life, gen.

The Back Room -- off the wall, entry requires thick skin, lots of internet humor.

New Off-Topic and The Back Rooms still follow EvoM rules in general.

I thought that is what "Other Cars", "Regional", "Clubs", etc. were for?

To an extent, but those forums you listed are much more on point. The New Off-Topic was created to be more user friendly and welcoming to all. Where The Back Room is for the "OG" people to have their chats.
