This site seems very buggy to me.

I browse EVOM from work & every time I open it up I get 2 dangerous virus warning signs from Trend Micro

For me it all started w/ these add on advertisements started

Oh well. Still enjoy the site. Its just not very fluid like my local forum

EDIT. Here's the site that our Anti Virus program is flagging daily. HTTP://www.Ringamphie4.dnsro.com/mf.Js?Evo FYI. I wouldnt click on the link

Guys, we get thousands of page views daily and I can't explain why one or two specific computers flags the site. I have seen on rare occasion an ad served up that goes back to a site that has been flagged by Google or some other AV source. Those are quickly cycled out. My point is that if we had a persistent virus attempting to infect our membership, this thread would be filled quickly with hundreds of reports.

We do follow-up on these when confirmed and appreciate the notice but at this time do not believe Evom is serving any malware or viruses. Thanks.

I have issues with ads shown on this site every once in a while. It's pretty annoying that I can't trust the site and am always paying attention for java loading out of the blue when on evom. You might want to talk to your ad provider(s) to ask they do some more frequent and thorough checks of their ad content.

Thank you. Do you remember what forum/page you were viewing? Or was it from the index page? Thanks.

I get the same two hits from this virus ALL the time on firefox when I google searches of evom threads. It only happens when I try to google anything evom related to narrow my search. Is there a solution for this? it's pretty annoying...

these are the two that my anti-virus program is blocking.

html/scrInject.B.gen.virus
and the www.ringpamphie4.dnsrd.com/mf.js?evo

Thank you again for the information. I can't duplicate the warnings and the techs have not found any persistent malicious scripts. We will continue to monitor the site and quickly act to remove any virus found. Thanks!
