New search bar
New search bar
First off, the new search bar is an excellent idea. I noticed it immediately and used it almost as fast. however, with the huge amount of information on this forum, I almost always have to use an advanced search. Is it possible to put an advanced search button there too?

It is an excellent idea. However, I wish they would just have Google search this site.
Anytime I need to find something say about an Exedy Twin HD, I go to Google and type: Exedy Twin HD site:evolutionm.net
This tells Google to search for Exedy Twin HD only on evolutionm.net.
Is this option possible? Having a search powered by Google?
Thanks,

^ I agree with you. It is much easier to find something searching this way than through the site. I have used google search for probably the past year or so when looking for something on here.
I didn't know I could do that lol. Usually when I get frustrated with the search here, I just go and google it like normal and it'll bring up something relevant from Evom within the first three results or so.

yea google is much faster, easier to sort search results. Whatever I want to search for I just type it in and then add evo ix at the end regardless if its for a ix or not lol. always works

Thanks everyone for your input! The search bar is not using the vb search engine therefore no need for advanced search. It's really more intended for quick discovery, than in depth searches. Additionally, it uses BING search, which is better than Google because it includes a way to search images on the site too.
