Official eBay/Craigslist listing thread.

What's up Evom I was just trying to make a suggestion about eBay listing and Craigslist listings. I think it'll be good if other forum members post up listings they see locally or if they find a steal on eBay that they wouldn't mind sharing. I had suggested this to my last forum that I was on and it worked out great !

I come across a lot of things on eBay and I'm pretty sure a lot of people see some things as well

Craigslist is also a huge plus because everyone from different cities could share what's on their local Craigslist listings. Hopefully mods take it into consideration

Funny, I found this post while googling for craigslist posts.

Yes we need this section! I see lots of goodies in the Detroit Craigslist here and there.

Hey guys!

Thank you for your suggestions. We have to be careful for a couple of reasons. One is hosting links to non registered vendors. There are many sellers who informally offer continuous parts on Ebay and Craigslist. It would not be fair to our paying vendors to compete against those folks. Also, Ebay and particulary Craigslist have numerous scams documented and again linking to unknown people is risky. If there is a way we can do it and keep the above two issues in mind we could try it. Do you have any examples of other large communities using Ebay and/or Craigslist in their formats? Thanks.

Bob..

Well the thing is that it shouldn't be a problem with vendors because they have all new parts and large amounts. My reason is to start something that would also benefit people who is on a budget and couldn't get the parts from vendors due to financial problems or whatever the case may be... As of the eBay listings It shouldn't be a problem if we find something for a steal that we want to share.. It's not like it'll be constant and we wouldn't get into the vendors sales. Craigslist I think would be great because everyone around the world uses Craigslist so finding things all over will also be a help to alof of Evo enthusiast that likes to browse for parts. Im not trying to stop the vendors or anything like that of that sort. But it's for the people who like to browse around and compare prices. It's definitely a nice source for parts since a lot of people are on Evom and the Internet

I found a lot of parts in the tri state Craigslist. But it's a hassle goin threw all those states and cities. That's why it'll be good if we have a thread and everyone could share what they find. Much more easier for us that like to look for parts everywhere !

Yeah I think this is a good Ideal. I'm constantly on Ebay and Craigslist looking at Mitsu parts and cars. Just yesterday I found a 1991 Galant VR4 for a good price, I'm not really looking for a new car but it would of been awesome to have somewhere on hear to share the find. Someone on EvoM mite be looking for just that short of car.

Yeah same here that's also great that you mentioned that about the VR4 wouldn't mind seeing a member getting that as a second car lol. But I mean you by at your own risk. It's common sense if someone is a scammer if you ask them about their part or whatever it is. Hopefully this works out because I'm pretty sure there's a lot of stuff out there that I can't find locally
