PM's and email notification problems?

PM's and email notification problems?

seems like i'm problems with PM's not getting to their desination, and email notifications for subscribed threads and successful PM's don't seem to be working either.

anyone else seeing this?

no error messages. and i got my normal notifications for this thread. funny.

this is basically about trying to keep up with one thread, and the thread starter via PM. maybe it's something about his settings that's causing this- is it possible that email notification might have been turned off at the thread level, and overrides my email setting? and what about PM's? could a preference on his end override my email notifications?

and then, of course, there's the possibility that either or both of us is just not paying attention to our addressing and such. if nobody else is seeing an issue, that's the way i'm leaning...

Well if you want email notification for a certain thread, you MUST use the "reply to post' alternative rather then the quick reply. Using the quick reply DOES NOT subscribe you to the thread, thus, no email is being sent to you.

As for the PM's side, everything seems to work fine on my end.

ah, that may be the case. not sure how i posted my original reply at this point, that may explain it.

and we just traded a round of IM's, so i'm pretty certain it was just an ephemeral IBCAK issue of some sort.
