What the #$%@! No more Evloving, Evolved and newbie. I really don't like it now. No more pictures of members cars in profiles to rate. No more pictures of mods. You guys took away the best part of the site. I now agree time to find a new board.

Now I'm really mad I can't even gut the mad face into this post, this just sucks!

 

is this all done in php?? It loads fast and everything..i dont have a problem with it..its just the navigation..then again, we will get used to it...i think the whole "navigation" thing is just because we were so used to the old look. that's my opinion...

 

i hate it.the old one was way cooler!!!!

 

if this is the way its going to stay, i really hate it. the layout on the front page is strange, and getting rid of all the members ride pics was a TERRIBLE idea! i was tracking all my info about my car in my profile, AND ITS GONE!

lol. and the "report a bad post" button that's been added is sure to start causing the mods some serious headaches. i'm all for cleaning and redesigning a bit, but this is overkill.

 

God, the registry in it's entirety WILL be back. Why the hell would we throw all that away!? It's being upgraded and revised as we speak. Once it's ready, it'll be live.

This (evom), right now, is in the process of being tuned up. Once Mark finishes up with the rest of the restructuring, he'll get to the precious "goodies" that every member longs for. Then everybody will be happy (as expected).

 

You guys are doing us a great service by upgrading servers, and the site. Thank You!

my only qualm is that i miss the cool EvoM banner w/ the RR Evo at the top. the little evo is fun, but hes all alone. im sure new banners are being designed. oh and can the advertisements not be at the top. seems weird.

 

i think the ad that's floating up top is supposed to be in the space beneath it. if not it should be.

also, would it be possible to have a few us spec lancers in the banners and adverts? i mean, wasn't this always a lancer forum, and not just evos?

I think once people get used to it, they'll like it. It's like a remote control - you get used to where all the buttons are so you don't even have to look. It does seem a little spread out... I need a little more time to explore.

we are still tweaking the site so just wait a bit before you say that you will never browse here again. right now 85% of the features are not working and Mark is working very hard to get it done. also, the front page will look like the old one once everything is said and done.

all you guys that said time to find a new board are really funny. i guess we know now what you come here for and thanks for appreciating the work Mark has put in the past few days. you would think that we deleted all the info on the board by listening to some of the members.

common guys, give KK some credit. I mean he worked his a s s off to get it to this point. I am a network admin\ web and I know that he had such a hard time backing everything up and restoring. I know for fact that this program is much better than the old one but it needs modifications. We can all help the Administrator just buy pointing few things out. The older version looked like a 16 bit software.

1- home page needs more organization ( I know you are working on it )
2- some fonts don’t match with other
3- keep the good work

 

It's not terrible, I see the member names are now back down to a smaller font, bajesus were they big . I dunno, I did like the old set up a lot, but I'm sure once I see all the news features, it'll be worth it. I recommend we make a separate gallery now for cars and some differenciating between forums, for example not just Evo "Show and Shine", but also a car care forum, separate exterior/interior forums and the such. We also need a multimedia section with member's rides and videos.
