When I look at a How To thread, it is much more convenient to be able to see the attached images inline in the thread, rather than have to open them up in a separate window. This is how it was pre-EvoM redesign, I think.

Is there an option to re-enable this that I missed somewhere?

I could imagine by default it is disabled to conserve bandwidth, but it would really help out in installation threads.

So my suggestion is to add an option to the "Thread Tools" menu that showed a version of a page with all attached images inline.

i will talk to Mark about this. i agree with you 100% that the way it is now is just not convinient at all. i hate seeing a thread with a lot of pics that i have to open them all in new windows.

having them thunbnailed does have its advantages(quicker load and you dont have to scroll forever if the thread is loaded with pics) I really like both ways in thier own right, but for me the new way works best. Mainly b/c alot of threads i go back to (like how tos) and dont need to see the pics again just to quickly read one step or post that im looking for
