I just wanted to express my appreciation for this site and all the members on it. Despite all the trash talking, bickering, and arguing, I think this site has proven to be invaluable to the vast majority of us. This site provides a wealth of knowledge that is not driven entirely by theory, but rather by empirical data and peoples' acccumulated experiences.

Collectively, many more problems are solved than would otherwise have been, absent such a powerful form of communication.

Personally, being able to hear about people's experiences with certain aftermarket products, set-ups, etc, has helped me greatly in choosing exactly what i want and don't want for my car. Whenever i have a problem, i put it on a thread, and i get answers in minutes.

Despite the trash, i think this site is about as good as it gets. I have my complaints here and there, but i still can't help checking the site at least once every hour, most of the time more than that. So i guess what i'm leading up to is: Thanks to everyone, members, mods, and vendors, for making this site what it is, and for making owning an EVO that much better of an experience that it could've been.

 

The Internet is like life. If you can filter out the crap, it's pretty damn good.

 

I agree!!! I love this forums and I give all the appreciation to the moderators fo doing a wonderful job in keeping this a great place to come and get all the information and share ideas and problems!!! Keep up the good work!!! Not to rain on your parade, but doesn't this belong in the feedback/suggestion threads????

 

i dont even have an evo, but i find myself going through this forum atleast 4 hrs a day while at work.. i love cars and love learning more about cars.. i guess the best part about it is that its a collection of people who share the love of cars... hats off to everyone
