Evo "How To" is screwed up

This part of the forum is very hard to find things in. It should be divided up like the Vendor in stock forum. There is 4 exhaust installs. Is that really needed? There is 2-3 o2 sim threads. 2-3 catch can threads. And to top it all off there is a thread to change the friggin antenna. Do we really need that? Uscrew it, screw the new one on. Can we clean that up?

It would be nice to have some orginization in that section. As for the antenna How To, they clearly stated that it was a joke... lighten up.

I agree. We should divide the posts up into sections.

While some more organization might be helpful, you can always use "search this forum" if you have a particular install in mind and want to weed through the clutter.

Complaining is one thing. Having the free time and desire is another.

ez76, why don't you do this. If you can design a site template, I will transfer all the articles and pictures onto my server and host them.

How does that sound? I can do it all, except I'm terrible with web design.

Can you tell me a little more about how you want it organized? Do you basically want e.g. an "Engine/Turbo/Drivetrain" section, an "Exterior" section, a "Tire/Wheels/Brakes/Suspension" section etc.? Or did you see a different kind of organization?

We might be able to break this forum down in a little bit. It can take some time to complete things like that, but should be doable in the next few weeks.

You can always archive your own page with the how-to articles, but that could be a PITA for you as you'll have to keep up to date on new articles and updates.

We'll do it like factory service manual layout:

* General
* Drivetrain
* Suspension & Steering
* Brakes
* Body

That should be a clean enough division to help separate out the articles. Perhaps we could create those 5 sub-forums. I know you have the power to move threads pretty easily, or is it not easy?

I don't mind mirroring these on my page and giving people credit. It's a good chance to proofread and clarify some things that I feel need clarification.
