Hi all, I wanted to show you guys a quick video I took at Motorsport Ranch on Sunday.

This is in no way meant to flame any EVO drivers, everyone had fun out there, I just wanted to ask if there was some suspension problem or something loose which caused the car to handle in this manner. I passed shortly after this video ends and the evo driver went into the pits.

It looks like he was trying to get it to drift. It also looks like a very bad driver. Or maybe something was broken as you suspect.

 

I vote for "bad driver".

Either just way out of his element or all discombobulated by the Vette filling up his rearview mirror.

Man that makes me want to go again so bad. Cadaver are you a member there? I'm seriously considering it once I get approved solo through Drivers Edge, but damn its expensive.

I heard if you know a member you can go with them, any idea how much that costs?

Seeing this video makes me real gald no one had a camera behind me my first time out. I probably looked just as bad my first day. John

 

I am not a member, I was a guest of a friend. MSR really is a great time, I had a blast and I only got 2 sessions. I would highly reccommend getting a membership. I understand Alamo Autosports was running a group special recently, several EVO folks got in on that, you might give them a call and see if they can still get that rate.

I plan on buying a membership sometime in the next year or 2.. still got a few things to pay for before I'm free

 

Thanks, I'll certainly call Alamo about that. My last time out there was easily the most fun I've ever had. The people there are great too. Thanks for posting this up, it was alot of fun to watch.

Oh and my guess is bad driver, nothing smooth about him although I'm quite the newbie myself so I could be wrong.

I never flamed him, hell I said I looked the same my first day out there which was only a couple weeks ago.

The need for Sway bars! I bet he was in 3 wheels at some point. Body roll is evedent. that Vette was charging him ! Nice Video

 

Bad driving, he was making massive sudden steering inputs. I guess trying to throw the car around, or didnt know better. Way way off what the line appears to be. (not having driven the track)
