i would like to say sorry to evotexas... on that thread i did reply saying he was an ignorant person. i dont' have any reflashes by any company and am lookin into dynoflash... i just don't feel some people should give a negative opinion all the time about someones business they are running, unless its a private conversation, now if there was evidence of such a pad product i would love to be informed, but bashing somethign like that i do not like...

anyways. i appologize for my harsh comments evotexas.

I know facts are not important to some of you, but here goes. I have never met big Al and do not have a flashy thing from anyone. Thanks for questioning my integrity.

Evotexas was given a 5-day ban for continuously disrupting threads after being asked then told to resolve his issues with the vendor. He declined to co-operate and was given the time out. Do not confuse freedom of opinion with the freedom to roam our site and jump into threads with the full intention of starting a flame war.

We received reported post after reported post as result of his "opinion" and ran out of patience. The membership made it clear they were sick of the vendor bashing. If he returns and continues the stupid campaign he will be banned permanently.

Any questions?

the real facts are that EVOTEXAS got a bad deal from Al, he even tried to resolve this situation with AL and had no success. i guess the bottom line is EVOTEXAS knows and believes he was done wrong and he is now returning the favor to Al for not stepping up and making good on the bad service he gave him.

you know if Al would have stood by his product and said, "sorry i wasnt able to provide you with the kind of power i promote, here is your 200 dollars back wish it would have worked out for you better." then this, all of this would have never ever existed.

let me ask everyone out there: would you be pissed if you paid money to get a flash to accompany the mods you had( those were: full 3 inch exhaust no cat, mbc, and k and n airfilter) and couldnt even keep up with another evo which had dynoed only 264whp?

i mean really im tired of the he said Al said B.S.!!!!

less than 264whp with those mods mentioned above and a street tuned, let me repeat "street tuned" ecu by AL himself in the car. EVOTEXAS even picked Al up from the airport so he would have a ride to the tuning session and Al wont make the situation right? thats the B.S. not giving a rats a$$ about keeping a customer happy.

Let him stay banned... this board gets its net notoriety from its vendor wars. Anything that provokes another vendor flame war should be ban worthy.

If Evotexas wants to call me and discuss a refund he is more than welcome to do so and I would be happy to work something out with him - my phone number is listed on my web site

To this date he has never contacted me in that regard

The only conversations I had with him concerned my opinions on why his car was not making as much power as he desired

the 264 figure means nothing to me without seeing the sheet and knowing more about the particular dyno involved. It seems within range for the mods he had at the time.

Evotexas's ecu was not street tuned - he recieved a base tune which was carefully road tested. I have driven many a evo and I personally felt it responded well to the base flash - but thought his boost was tapering slightly too much due to his RX MBC instead of the pro. Its regretable that he felt the performance gains did not justify the price, however I can assure you that I did my very best to give him the best tune I could. I always prefer custom tuning which provides the ability to tune more agressively.

With that said, I feel that this campaign of attacks, insults and slanderous postings that has insued is totally disproportioante and unfair.

I did not steal any money from Evotexas. I showed up there and did what I promised to do. I doid not damage his car, I did not blow up his engine. He did not get as nmuch whp as he wanted and now he has found a tuner he likes. I think its time to move on from this and go on to other things.

If he wants to talk about a refund or anything related to his business with me - he is free to call me anytime

That's great, everyone knows the story. Doesn't mean he has to post it, or ***** about it, in every ****ing thread. He is on a 1 man mission to disrupt the site by constantly attacking Al. In the thread where he was banned, Al was offering help to the guy in the way of free pistons even though the problem was not related to his tuning. He even offered to tow the guy's car. EvoTexas had no right to jump in there and aimlessly bash Al and tell him to stay out of the thread.

This is not our board; it belongs to a single person. The mods are here to ensure the site runs as the owner (Mark) expects it to. This is not a democracy and if you don't follow the rules then you're gone. He was warned about his actions yet decided to continue with the relentless Al bashing so he left the mods no alternative. He also sports a big NTEC banner as his avatar and, quite frankly, does nothing but poorly represent your club. I don't care if he's the owner or just a member of the club, the fact that he displays your logo makes the whole NTEC club look bad. I think everyone knows you & your crew dislike Al; I just don't see the need for the constant attacks.

B.S. Al he is my best friend and i know for a fact he called you at least twice and got nowhere with you because the excuse is always the same:

it is every other reason but the flash, ive heard many people here in the forums say the same thing. its always something other than the flash.

here, right here is your oprotunity to make good on it, the calls have been made and it seems you just pissed off the wrong guy cause i guess he isnt going to let it down. cant we all just get along?

hey UFO i do appreciate your opinion, but only one person can fix this and thats AL. i understand EVOTEXAS can get out of hand but he truely feels he was dealt a bad hand and even tried to resolve it but with no success. i just hope this can be fixed and we can move on.

BTW it shows that poor business practices will not be tolerated by any of our members, if one of us is wronged we are all wronged thats why we are a club and we will stick to gether as a club. plus come on man Al just so happened to upset the guy who is second in command and it also so happens Al decided not to make good on the wrong person. UFO you would be mad too if you had the same results.

also..... do you ever see any large companies trying to shut down places like consumer reports?.... hell no.... i think evotexas is just a consumer that is reporting his experience with a product that wasnt what it was advertised.

I didn't report him but note that his irratating posts crop up all over the place. It is easy to understand how his one man crusade could annoy lots of people due to the disruption he causes on the forums.

Man, take it easy. No one is saying what he's trying to do is wrong.. they are simply upset at HOW he is going about it. If he did it in a less aggressive manner he wouldn't be bothered and he'd make a better piont. UFO is right.. He is single handedly making the NTEC team look bad with his behavior.

By all means, he is a customer and has a right to his opinion; that's America. But he doesn't have the right to take it to the extremes that he has in the past. That's the whole idea of democracy. Do you disagree with democracy also?

It's not the message, it's the delivery. Plain and simple.
