I happen to love Texas, and the girl are the best!

Hey Malibu Jack, where are you moving to? It will be great to have you in Texas anyway, maybe the other Evo owners around here can show you how good Texas can be. Welcome to the Lone Star State one way or another!

A racing instructor stops at a rest stop on his way to a new town where will begin teaching. While he is resting a young man walks over to him and starts talking to him. Eventually the young man asks the instructor where he is coming from and the instructor replies 'Dallas'. The yound man asks what is it like. The instructor responds by asking him what it is like where he comes from. The young man responds that where he comes from it is crowded with rude, ignorant, wife beating red knecks who like to sodomize sheep before cooking them. The instructor responds "Yes, that is Dallas."

The next year the same instructor is at the same rest stop when another young man comes up and much of the same conversation is repeated. However, the youngman describes where he is coming from as a nice place where the people are always friendly and the girls are eager to please. The instructor responds "Yes, that is Dallas".

Look at it this way: The breast implants in Dallas on average are larger than any other place on earth. (Everything is bigger in Texas)

And no matter where you go in the world I promise you will find ignorant, wife beating, sheep phucking red knecks. I know, I grew up over seas. I've met them, just go to London and you'll see what I mean.

Let me say this, Dallas isnt my fav TX city but you cant beat texas the only thing is the temp is 15 degrees too high on average. Austin is what Berkley shouldda been if the yuppies didnt quietly slip out the back of the movement for high paying city jobs they so despised. Nor Cal had its time but it aint here anymore.

I'll be in the Dallas area, Probably about 40 miles or so outside (probably north).. Looking for my "Dream property" right now.. I'm hoping to find a piece of property large enough to build my shop and my own private track (drag strip) for testing out my experiments on the same property as my house.. I'm planing on taking a trip down there in about a month to actually look at properties and likely buy something, but I'll let you guys know when and where..

Man, you think the people down here are rude??? Don't even bother going to the northeast near the New England states. I was ready to kill folks up there a couple of months ago because they were so freaking rude. I have to go back up there for three months in July before going overseas and I'm not looking forward to it at all. I'm not from Texas but I love it here and I'm okay with living in Dallas thanks to a decent economy and the cost of living compared to other cities our size.

Dallas is not that bad. The traffic is aweful, just like any large city. I'm from Florida and I have to say that most people don't know what an Evo is there either. Face it, the average person just doesn't know that much about Evos. Evos look like Lancers to them.

Austin > *
When I went to New York / New Jersey, I was surprised to find out how rude everyone is. I was 6 cars back at a light and it turned green. No more than 3 seconds after, every car infront of me lays on the horn because the first car didn't immediately take off. People up there are jerks. Everyone is quick to honk / flip you off compared to Texas. In Texas, you can wave at almost anyone you pass and they will wave back. Try that up north and you will get shot.

We will have to get togather once you are settled in, I think that you will enjoy Texas. I went to school in Austin and loved it, but I started to work on 6th and school went to hell. Oh well, it was fun for about 2.5 years!
