Jon...we're in Texas. The forecast calls for rain everyday! No, I'm just b----ing because it's raining cats and dogs right now. My car is clean, but it won't be in about 30 minutes.

 

There's a smarta$$ in every crowd.... I am actually taking friday off so I can clay bar and wax mine. I hope there's no rain on Sat.

BTW the wife told me you called on Monday. I will give you a call this evening to finalize things. I think there may be three of us from houston driving out there.

 

If you can firm up those numbers of people coming, it would help with the organization. I want to make sure there is enough room for all us to be in one spot at the dealership! Let me know.

hey whoosh, edit your first post so it has the list of people goin. it'll be easier to see who's going. also, what happens if it rains? if its pouring cats and dogs i'm gonna assume we're not gonna head down there. is this correct? now what if it starts raining on the way or while we're there? you gonna provide the keg while we wait it out? hahaha

 

1st post edited, per your request! The weather forecast is supposed to be sunny and hot from now until next Tuesday. Saturday should be great. I just had a meeting with the manager in charge this weekend and there will be a live/remote radio broadcast and the local newspaper is scheduled to do, what will be, a front page article on this event. For those out of town Evo's attending, you will entered into the car show FREE of charge. We have a front row spot in front of the Mitsubishi store to show off our cars. Very kewl!

If it rains on the way (which Mother Nature has assured me will not happen) ya'll are getting to my house early so that we can take care of that stuff, right?

As for the keg...we can get as much beer as your wallet will allow. I'm good at spending my money. Wait to you see me spend yours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a ez-up 12x12 tent that I can bring along. Do you think it would be worth it? I have been to events like this in the past, and it saved me from quite a few sun burns! Let me know if you think this would be good to bring.

man, this is gonna be sweet. the car's getting cleaned today (Free WashTub wash, then spray and wash to get what they missed and then the waxing begins) then bestbuy tonight. should be pretty sweet since i'm assuming all our cars will already be cleaned for tomorrow.

then meet at 87 and i 10 at 0730 tomorrow morning, correct? then might just do a little Eagle One Spray N Wax tomorrow at Bob's. I've got an extra bottle I'll bring along if anyone wants to use it...
