Hey Guys Great day out there! Right now I'm sure a dozen or so of you are enjoying some BBQ, steaks, and or burgers at Pete's. I would have liked to stay, maybe next time! Good to see a few first timers take the first step into hot lapping!

Now that some got a taste of the addiction, did anyone hideout to run laps after dark? Is everyone accounted for?

Hey Good job on the nice drift through big bend! Did anyone find out if the M3 had any video footage of it from behind?

Also good job to those who learned putting a wheel (or four, heh) off is how you learn and that's what it's all about!

The day was good and the burgers were were great, and the company wasn't too bad either.

I had to skip the gravel road excursion to head back to Houston. Now gonna drink some NyQuil and go to bed. I'll write more tomorrow.

Thanks to all the various organizers, hosts, and member sponsors. But y'all really need to work on getting more silver Evos out next time.

this was a great event. Kelly, thank you again for organizing it. It was great meeting everyone. We had some great hot laps, great conversations, good bbq and for those staying out late, cool gravel road experience. Larry, we're hoping that your meeting with the 'scenery' will be able to be waxed out. and the stragglers even had a bit of star gazing before we called it a night. good times. pete

Hey guys-

I had a great time, thanks to all for being so helpful and allowing me to really experience what this car can do! Speacial thanks go to Kelly for organizing the event, Pete for his hospitality and showing me the line, and Guillome for all his advice and direction. I can't wait to do it again or see everyone at another meet.

Jim

Just wanted to say, f#@k you all very much for having so much fun without me Just kidding of course, but I do wish I could of been there. I'm especially glad that Got Boost has finally come out of his protective shell to hang out with folks. You need to slow the heck down now though and give me time to catch up to you on the track when I get home . See ya on Sept 22 .

Come on Monkey post more pics...
BI - Good to hear from you Q! I thought you were going to hop on the next plane out after the 21st and head back down here. What happened? If you can get back by Fri the 26th they're heading out to the track again and I'll bet if you're real nice Pete would be more than willing to take you out to the deserted country backroads and show you a good time too.
