I'm going to present this opportunity at the dyno day at MZM this Saturday. Hopefully we'll get a very positive response and get this all put together.

Good question, I heard there may be reciprocal privileges w/each track, so I'm glad to hear it could be opening soon.

MSR is all set, I'm waiting to find out how many of you will be coming so I can commit the member friends to showing up . I have to try to keep it ~1:1 ratio.

The 27th,28th is not a member weekend, so I can't get anyone in. That Fri, the 26th, Ovenmit331 is coming out, for a few laps, (on a member day before the weekend racing), but there will be more traffic with all the early racers showing up.

Hey, this is not a one time deal; I just wanted to get some of you together,, and the MSR is a hell of an excuse to do that.
I also know that anyone that drives an EVO needs to know how it handles near the limit, and frankly I am astounded to find out where that limit actually is!!!

I'm glad to finally see some chatter about getting together...
I have an EVO friend near the track, who's offered his huge garage loft for any sleeping bags etc. and the track has showers, so I can't think of any more excuses!!!

It doesnt have to be in august you can push it back... just gives me more time to work on the suspension.

 

I'm sorry to report that there was no interest at yesterdays's dyno day. I was hoping to get a least a few people interested, but it didn't happen. I'll keep trying.

Many 'round these parts might not be very familiar with such great things, including Dr. King's "The only thing we have to fear...", which makes it quite a headache to entice.

as for the spec miata comment. i've kept up in the corners, and YES they are very great handling cars. it'd be a blast to own one...
