Henry,

It's pretty much a show up kinda thing. However to race you obviously have to pay. And i believe this weekend you have to be a guest of a member (which DEVO330 is working on, maybe, i don't really know).

I went last march i think. i had never raced either. it was pretty dang cold and raining out and i've never had so much fun in my life. if you're nervous about it, just ride with someone for a session or two and kinda learn the basics, then if you feel comfortable, go out and have a blast.

RoundPro, what rotors?

also, need an opinion or some advice ... I've got my old advans that were pretty bald on the insides from the factory alignment. i'm thinkin about putting them on for the track, on opposite sides of course, since they have a bit of tread left on the and my RE750's suck... what do you guys think? and is there anyone actually AT the track that could do this?

and i got a buncha pm's, i'll put the results up here soon...

Testing rotors Saturday. I will also test very soon the STASIS Alcon set up and will write a full review once I am finished with FULL track testing.

Call Denver at MSR, he has a shop at the track and will be able to help you... But you need to call him to let him know when you're coming as he need to add you to his schedule: his number is 817. 228.1477.

Your Advan should be fine, just use them on the rear. Always a good idea to have a spare tire on any track day.

Correct alignment is crutial for optimum street/track performance and also tire longevity. We will talk about all this in detail on the 20th... Lots of good info will be shared

about to call him thanks man... and i'll probably have him put all four advans on, just to be safe with the diffs and such.

as for alignment... i've got mine as aggressive as the stock suspension allows. like -1.8º of camber up front and -1.2º in back (i think) and basically no toe all around.

camber is fone for now, but I would have your alignment checked. I suspect your toe set up is prob. off. You want to dial all four wheels a 0 toe.

Speaking of... When I need an alignment who can you trust to do a good job in the Dallas area? If you go to a shop that offers a "lifetime warranty" with theirs supposedly you can have it checked every so often for free, but do they know how to do it right in the first place? Thanks.

The only place to go in Dallas is Autoscope! Nerces has helped me set up my car and is is also a track junky with many years of experience... Call him at 972 867 7467.

Tell him Roundpro told you to call and tell him what you are planning to do with the car and he'll set you up!

ATTENTION!!!
Even if you don't have your car that day, or don't want to drive, come out anyway. Let's turn this into a huge meet anyway.

So even at that, come out and have a blast. You know you wanna!
