Storm wasn't that bad. Nothing really worth worrying about. Just that houston centerpoint energy took a fall on a little tap to the chin. My power was out since yesterday at 10am and barely came on now.

It looks like all the paranoid Austin people who cleaned out HEB of bottled water, baby formula, toilet paper, and bread wasted their money. It was sunny and nice all weekend!

Well...you're right. But then again, they do a lot of good for a lot of people. At least you know what you're giving to...unlilke most of these charities.

But on your note: there are lots of people that make lots of money working for the Red Cross. And yes, the CEO makes a lot of money. Just because they are "non-profit" doesn't mean squat. Heck, most of Jesse Jackson's "charities" are non-profit and they have made him insanely rich.

Made it back in way less time than getting there. It took me 4.5 hours to go 16 miles wed evening. I made it to Dallas in only 15 hours!!!! Damn what a slow ride, probably could have walked faster!! Anyway we here in La Porte made it out ok, with no substantial damage. Blown over trees and some shingles missing on some houses in my neighborhood. Well back to work

Good to hear Jon. My parents said our big rain tree got split in half, but that was the only damage.
