I'll admit, Josh has a reason to be skeptical. He did have a problem with one of our previous service advisors and a parts manager. We had a problem with it to and replaced the fellow! Josh was a highly respected customer (and well liked) that unforunately was not treated the way he deserved to be. I know there is no way to make that up to him, but I trust the staff that is in place now and they are all for this Car Show!
I promise that this will not be an attempt to gather VIN's and void warranties!

Will check on that with Mike (GM) for you! It wouldnt make sense for us to do something like that! We are trying to mend our relationships with the EVO community, not further damage them.
In reality, when a warranty gets voided the dealership suffers as well. We get paid from the manufacturer to perform the "warranty work" on your vehicles.
I know there are some vindictive (spelling?) a-holes in the service departments that like nothing more than to screw some young EVO owner out of his warranty just because (could be little man syndrome or jealousy). When that happens it hurts everyone. Thus if we voided all of your factory warranties, we would be cutting our own throats. I want your service business (warranty or otherwise) and your new car business.
Anyhow, dont want to break the rules and start advertising and preaching to the congregation here! I only have 6-10 more days before that vendor account is set up and we are up and running!
You guys will see a ton of good things to come from ............... Mitsubishi (cant name the dealership!
Thank you for bringing that to my attention Josh and I will get something handled for you guys and gals out there that may have the same concerns!
Best regards,
Mark,
Glad to see that the suggestion was taken in the right light. Those who think I'm overreacting here... well, I've been around with this evo thing and all I'm trying to do is prevent you guys from having to go through some of the crap I have. Hope everyone had a great turkey day

I hope this will increase the potential number of people that will be attending!
You guys keep posting with your suggestions, concerns, and comments! I need all the help I can get in setting this up and putting it together!
Best regards,
I will go. I will be at Fort Hood by then.
I've been to a Subaru appreciation event at a dealer. They gave away some cool scooby stuff (they gave me a free oil change card). Try to have an Evo 9 handy and see if you can't get some of the heavy hitters (highly modded Evos) to show up.
That's my 2 cents.
