Hello Folks, I just got my car tuned at Engine Logics. Check out the "Gurus at Engine Logics" thread for the dyno figures.

I just picked up my Evo from Engine Logics, and all I can say is Wow!! These guys are gurus!! About 3 or 4 weeks ago, there was a dyno-day at Engine Logics. They dyno’ed my vehicle, and told me what I knew all along – My vehicle needed a tune really bad, to say the least. It idled badly, drove crappy, and just did not feel right (I had been driving it this way for the past couple of months). Well, they made some recommendations and I decided to give them a try.

I picked up my vehicle yesterday, and it scared the daylights out of me! I still can not believe it is the same car. It idles and drives so silky smooth, it’s scary! But when you step on the gas pedal, hold on!! It slams you into the seat like Mike Tyson. But the best thing about it is that the power is smooth all the way to red-line.
For those of you who don’t care about reading this, attached are is the file showing the “After EL Tune” dyno-run graph. You can see the "Before EL Tune" file in the "Dec 3rd Dyno Day Numbers" thread, and the "After EL Tune" file in the "Gurus at Engine Logics" thread.

Even though I am now making more power and torque, check out the fat Horsepower and Torque curves on the “After EL Tune” dyno-run graph file. And this is with a conservative tune! Oh yeah baby!!

To Dan S. and Chris at Engine Logics I say big thanks. I sure can’t wait to do the cams, head porting and stand alone EMS.

Folks if your vehicle needs some work or tuning, I would highly recommend these guys. At least check them out. These guys are picky, and I really appreciate that, because I am too! The customer service is excellent as well.

nice runs...can't wait to see what happens with cams...i wouldn't port the head though, everyone that has done this so far has ended up regretting it, mainly because you lose alot of low and mid range hp/tq and don't gain enough on the top end to justifying the expense, not unless you are driving a race car...

Donald- It was a pleasure tuning your car. I will call for pricing on the parts we discussed.

SEEYA- Give Chris K a call at the shop or please stop by. He can explain to you our approach on what proper cylinder head work, proper cam selection and phasing will do to Volumetric Efficiency of a motor. Though with "hogged out" crap head work you may gain CFM at maximum lift, but CFM on the topside isnt everything to us. We do not focus purely on WOT only. Our focus is driveability, streetability and wide torque curves throughout the powerband.
