Everyone safe?

I had a few close calls with cars going outta control infront of me but I'm ok.

Funny thing also... So I get into work this morning and the office is closed. Someone obviously didn't notify me and I was like welp that's what you get for driving an evo...

Anyone else?

I know what you mean. I was stopped at a light last night, and a car was approaching from the rear. I thought "I hope they realize they won't stop..." I had nowhere to go really, but I was thinking about pulling forward a bit. Fortunately, he changed lanes...because he slid right past me, talking on the phone kinda surpirsed at what happened

I noticed in general that people were driving like there was nothing on the road. No wonder there were over 200 accidents here this morning.

One interesting thing was that I could feel the torque shifting between the wheels as the system worked to maintain grip....

evo with the advans = awsome.

i spent last night with a bunch of friends hanging out in one of the school parking lots. we tied a rope to the tow loop and grabbed one of our snowboards without bindings and dragged eachother accross the parking lot at 25-35mph. it was fantastic! i have it on video too

then we went to a friends for chili, and on highway 30 i made sure to scare the hell out of everyone. going 60 (which was already 30mph faster then everyone else), i would punch the throttle and let all 4 wheels spin, getting a little sideways, then let off regaining traction. it's funny how everyone drives... like they have never seen the white stuff before! it's just a little ice!

Yup, I too had a ton of fun last night on the way home. I couldn't find a safe place to do any donuts though, weak!

Slipped in the driveway and almost broke a hip this morning...

Evo performed flawlessly on the way home at 10:30 pm

My 90$/tire worked decently. I tested the tires out by swinging my steering wheels side to side and I can feel no friction between the road and the tires No matter how long I've driven the tires didn't seem to warm up. But at some point I was grinning when I passed cars going regular speeds, the awd system is fantastic. Bad thing is that when I was close to home I felt bad friction/shake in the brakes, I found out this morning it was salt and sand stock on the rotors

Passed like 4 cops last night. They just gave me a pathetic look of "God I hate my cruiser" as they were doing like 40mph. Very impressed by the performance of the KDW's especially compared to the way my yoko es100's felt in the ice last year.

edit: Zeus now remember your stretches before ice skating

I got to play in LifeTime's partking lot last night. Lots of fun turning the car with Oposite lock. 300Whp and worn Ecsta's make for fun on ice. The EVO is completely amazing though. I never felt out of control even when the car was totally sideways.

On public roads I tend to drive a bit slower and keep away from the idiots. So few people have any idea what to do when their car gets out of control. Ice is the last thing your average soccer mom or NASCAR dad needs as they drive their Bimmers while talking on cell phones.
