You should definitely double-check. Don't know how often they update those books, but in the one I looked at a couple of years ago said M1-108 for all Lancer models. I've run the 108's before and not had any problems, but I would definitely switch it out to the right one on your next oil change if you have the one for the base Lancers.

yeah.. im about to change my clutch before the meet... i ordered it this morning and now just waiting for it to come in. yay! lol not! so many bolts, etc. i hope its not that hard.

are you really gonna do it yourself? i'm going to be working on kellys clutch this weekend. if you want it done before the meet and you get it tomorrow, i'll do it for you. PM me and we can talk about it.

i was hoping to do it... i want to try and do it at least... im probally going to pick it up today.. they said it would be in TODAY but i havent got a phone call yet. im off tomorrow but i do work sat and sun from 9-5pm.. i probally will be able to get off because my boss is a car enthusiast. what does PM mean?? lol everyones using it and i have no idea what it means.. lol

I'm not sure of your garage setup, but without a proper set of tools and some decent experience with changing clutches, the Evo isn't a very good car to get broken in on. It is a royal pain in the a$$ clutch changeout. The worst I've ever experienced.

one of my good friends has his own shop and everything... so im too worried about tools but ive never done one myself but watched a few people change some clutches but i did hear that evos are the worst just like you said so who knows. i just might let kevin do it and not even mess with it.

Oil filter?

I personally use the Purolator Pure One filter. You can find them at Pep boys. Walmart has an excellent store brand filter that I ran on my 95 Eclipse for many years. It is quite a bit better than Fram filters.
