Let me just start off by saying thanks to dubbleugly01 for organizing this event and taking charge when no one else could at the time. Thanks a bunch man!
And also, Jestr is a freakin bad ***! He is so down to earth, talks you through the process and is totally chill the entire time. I've experienced a multitude of tuners and none were like Jestr. I honestly recommend him to anyone driving an EVO, please don't look anywhere else. Now then on to the results.
The tuning took place at Engine Logics out in Houston, TX where they have a Dyno Dynamics Dyno that isn't setup to read higher numbers or anything and truly is a heart breaker dyno.
My mods are:
Megan Catback w/resonated testpipe
Megan o2 Housing
Ichiba Down Pipe
Apexi Filter
Walbro Pump
AMS LICP
And Stock Boost Controll
I made 304whp and around 290 wtq

These are freakishly good numbers IMO, and the car just freaking has a totally different feel now. It was an overall amazing experience!
Thank you once again Jestr!

-a walk-in, Brian I think was his name, but he doesn't post much so I don't know his screen name. He just got back from Iraq, so you better believe we were gonna fit him in!
we had some tuning difficulties with some of the cars that we tried to work through on the dyno. Plug gaps, boost control, fuel pressure regulators, cam gear settings.... But these things don't come up until you get on the dyno and you're trying to optimize your settings. We ran about 1-1/2 hrs late, so thank you guys for being patient. It was nice meeting all of you.
I'd also like to thank Jestr, he's an honest, friendly and a trustworthy guy. Not to mention a damn fine tuner! Also, for the large pizzas for everyone for lunch. Also, to EngineLogics for their excellent dyno facility and help getting the cars on/off the dyno, and especially for that resturant quality coffee that was ready for us at 8 am!
Now on to my results. My car would not hold boost on a 50 trim with meth. We dialed it in for 27#'s which it hit, but then it would taper to 23#'s at redline. A mechanical issue with either the boost controller or wastegate, which I'll troubleshoot tomorrow. But not too shaby for 23#'s of boost at redline. I'm very pleased and suprised Jestr could get these numbers out of it. For all of these dyno dynamic results, multiply by 1.2 to get the dynojet equivalents.
Jestr Rocks!
