Is this for daily driving? You could get some UHP type tires. I haveuse Falken FK 452s. They are very grippy, good rain traction, very quite. They do not handle as well as Advans, but its a trade of for having rain traction.

Falken Azien 615's. I have had Stock/Yoko A032R's/Toyo RA1's. On 2nd set of 615's. last the longest, and have great grip. (See's lot's of Autox duty also) 135? each?

It really depends on what you're using them for. If you're going to continue to autocross. Normall tires are going to not only suck for traction, but also for wear. The Bridgstone RE-01R's are the best "Street" tire on the market right now. Or something like the Falken 615 or stock Advans would be good as well.

If you're going to stick anything less than that on the Evo, you should sell it and buy a civic to put sears specials on.

+1 for the Bridgestone RE-01Rs. While I only race on them I know they would be great daily-driven street tires. On top of that, Bridgestone is offering a $100 rebate on them as well. http://www.potenza.com/SCCArebate/07...dSportsCar.pdf

Well I was at a practice autox last weekend and did some testing in the pouring rain/standing water and the B'stones still pulled 1.05g. Felt great too so I must say it's a good wet tire as well.

I would agree, for the money the Bridgestones are as good as your gonna get. If you want to spend a little more get Michelin PS2's. I have them and they are excellent in the rain. I have trouble getting my car out of shape when it's wet.

I got nittos and they do alright in rain dry they do well, but I got a hookup on bridgestones so I think I'll give em a try after the good things you've been sayin about them. One thing I've n noticed about my nittos is they do wear fast.

I can put in my vote for the kdw2 as well. I just got 42k out of my last set. The actually still had another 15-20k left on them but one corded on the inside due to freak bad alignment. I never was never able to take them past their dry handling ability and you'd be hard pressed to find anything as good in the wet. Great all around tire for the daily driver. Also they seem to be quieter than my last set which used to be my only complaint with these.

I have the Bridgestone RE-01r's. Very good performance for the money.
