I got a regular Lancer ws from Safelite for $185 installed. They came to work and did it right in the parkling lot. The Evo ws is $650 and weighs a little less.

Based on Jim's recommendation, I just had Safelite replace mine a couple weeks ago. They did a great job and it was $185 as well. It was done in about an hour at the parking lot where I work.

At first they tried to quote me $225 over the phone, but apparently when the rep then looked up their shop in Arlington, she found they do it for that lower price.

Okay it's not just me then. My windshield has remained untouched thus far, but I've only had my car for less than 1500 miles, and it seems like I've had to dodge about 20 or 30 pieces of windshield destroying debris so far. One even hit my door pillar and dented the crap out of it I've never seen so many "STAY BACK 200 FEET CUZ ROCKS BE FLYIN' OUT THIS B**TCH" stickers on the backs of trucks in my life...

I think Lancer windshields have some sort of rock-magnetizing coating.
