i have no doubt jestr is a great tuner :P i;ve seen his tunes and many other tunes and his are some of the better ones. however that still doesn't explain how you get 320-330 miles on a tank of gas how many gallons did it take to fill up? did you have an approximate MPG figure? i so want to know how cause i wanna duplicate it

after reviewing, i achieved 24mpg on the way home from Houston... thats 250 miles of all highway driving with no traffic at 75 mph.

you did say you have mostly highway miles on your car right kevin? have you done a boost leak test on your car? reason i ask is with leaks, if you are in vacuum at idle you'll run lean. but it would have to be a big leak to run lean at highway speeds.

usually I'm at about 285-290 before I fill up (when the orange comes on which still leaves a couple gallons. I've driven 55 miles into the orange before I began worrying and put some gas in) when I run a rull tank. I have a tendency lately to only put in about 3-4 gallons at a time now to keep the weight down since I like to race here and there. Last time I did a boost leak test was about 2 or 3 weeks ago. didn't have any.

I have a lot of highway miles but that is because one of my ex girlfriends lived in fort worth and I'd go see her every 2-3 weeks for about 7 months. That relationship is long over and Jestr tuned me way after that. After Jestr tuned my car and pulled it off the dyno, I reminded him that i'd like him to tune me for better gas mileage between 1500-3000 rpms and he said ok, hold on, I'll do that right now, and made some alterations and I got amazing gas mileage. I will do a full highway mileage test for you soon and let you know how things go. If you want to learn how Jestr does these things, come down and meet him your self. I promise you won't regret it. He is probably one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life and no offense, his last tune left such a huge impact on me and my car. This tune was nothing personal and I think you're very nice and definitely know what you're doing, but Jestr is and will always be my first choice. I have a lot of Evo friends as you know and they have all seen first hand how my car runs, on and off boost. So far everyone that has come into here is my friend. No one has stated that they are down for a tune that I didn't let know about this thread. They know if I give someone or something my seal of aprooval, that it means something.

I just haven't had the time to mess with it right now, so yeah I'm giving up.

Well it'll be 350 for John's portion. If you guys insist this be a dyno tune then we pretty much only have 1 option of an AWD Dyno which is Engine Logic's Dyno Dynamics. Last time Jestr came to town, they charged 150 for the dyno time per person. I know Alex (2 Deep Motoring) of Smart Auto Performance plans on getting an AWD Dynojet soon. Not sure as far as how soon, or how much he'd charge, should it be ready though.

edit: another friend told me to ask "Does he tune STi's also with UTEC EM systems?"
