I spoke with Brad of Engine Logics tonight about Jestr being welcomed back to tune. They said he is more than welcome to come back and tune us. I'll give them a call later and find out fee's for the dyno. Personally I'd like a dyno tune as well. but this depends on everyone. not just 3-4 people as there are now 14 people interested. What else would everyone else like to do? keep in mind the tune will most likely end up costing 500 total. 350 for the tune and 150 for the dyno time. i can't promise that it'll be that, higher or lower, but that was what it was last time, just to give a general idea.

 

I also prefer a dyno tune over a street tune.

 

i'll call EL today some time and find out rates for renting the dyno for a day. hopefully since we have a lot of support on this tune, it wont be too rough on us. im not entirely sure that John can even tune this many people on a weekend. If he can, there definitely aren't many slots left.

 

it's been awhile since a good tuner has come down to texas , i got my dyno flash in oct. .. hmm might have to order some cossi cams and jump on this

 

I think Smurfytc will tell you to get some gsc s1's. He's pretty dissapointed with his cossi cams.

Secondly, Al tuned my car like this. I would not consider him a good tuner.

 

al's car isn't even tuned by himself. david buschur does all his tuning.

stock 9's have gone as fast as 12.8 and 12.9s are pretty comon for bone stock. your car probably has a ton left in it. anyhow best wishes on what ever route you take

 

So do you guys just want me to randomly pick a weekend in November or what? How does Saturday November 17th and Sunday the 18th sound? I need to have a date for when I call Engine Logics to find out if they are free and what fee's will be for dyno time.

 

Nov 17th and 18th sounds good for me. I would go for a dyno tune as well!! hopefully the more dyno tunes the cheaper the dyno rate!!!!
