Huge Thanks to KevinD
As many know, I traded my baby in for a Nissan Frontier. Only two complications. 1) The car still had the aftermarket parts on it and I wanted them all back (and likewise, the dealership wanted a stock car) 2) I was leaving for CA in two days and don't return until Sunday.
Like many in DFW, KevinD and Don Herring Mitsu are the only people I let touch my Evo. In fact, I think I insulted the Nissan dealership a bit when they said "We could have our mechanics do it" and my response was "Your mechanics are not going to touch that car."
While I've been out of town, the dealership held the car, and Kevin helped make arrangements to pick it up and turn it back to stock. He picked it up yesterday after work, worked on it until 2:00am, and is taking it back right now. I don't think this is a service that Kevin is planning to offer, but I can't thank him enough for taking care of things 100% in my absense!

last night was a busy one. finished another clutch, then pulled dandridges car into the garage at 11pm. 3 hours later i had swapped out the cams, fuel pump, intake, boost controller, exhaust, boost gauge, shift knob and antenna
i think when theres no one around to talk to i work a lot faster
the clutch took me less then 6 hours to do. no cursing or anything... it went together so well i was like, dang! i'm done already!
and no, the 2am service is not available
i did that because i wanted one day off this week, and the dealer was calling me every hour to see when i would get the car back to them. hahaha

Yeah, I'm kinda annoyed with the dealer that last week, we said "you will have my Evo back stock on Friday 10/12" and they kept calling and asking.
I'm assuming the shift knob and antenna were about 2 hours worth of that work, huh?

I doesn't take much to have a better shop than Alamo. There customer service reeks of cockiness. You step foot in the door and the first thing the want to do is make you look stupid at the first hint any inexperience.

I'm the new owner! Kevin D, I want to talk with you ASAP!
Definitely looking to pretty much get it right back to what Dandridge had on it.
I'm a complete newbie to Evo's but have prior DSM experience, hopefully you can help me get it where I want it!

BTW, I think it needs rear brakes do you do that as well?
EDIT: Also would like the MBC, TBE and Gauge, What do I need to safely make some more power?

Do you have another one?
Rear brakes? Really? Do you guys know how long do those stock Brembos pads usually last with just regular driving conditions?

So you'd like the MBC too? It's a shame we couldn't have hooked up a week ago.
Also, if you're interested in keeping the floors as clean as I have, I still have the Rubbermaid all weather floormats for it. I cut the driver's side one to go around the dead pedal. You can have mine for $20....save you $10 and they are already cut to fit.
Oh, gotcha. You'll get instant street credit if you put "05 Evo - Dridge Edition"

Hahah! maybe I'll put the "Dridge Edition" on there when I get all the same parts you had back on it...

PM replied to, it doesn't have an ECU anymore
LOLOLOL! This is a very funny thread to read since it proceeds from "Thanks for hooking me up Kevin!" right back around to "uh, I need you to un-hook me up, Kevin..."
Although my plan as of now is to drive my Evo until the wheels fall off, if I DID sell it, I'd probably try to sell it privately with the mods on first just because you don't wanna take all the stuff off that any self-respecting Evo owner would put right back on!
