Even though I showed up late, it was a fun, well run event, my thanks to Jason, Steve, and EVO ROSSO for taking the time to put this together. I have attached my dyno sheet from that day. The car has an RMR down pipe, test pipe, K&N stock replacement filter, Greddy BOV, and XS MBC (set close to stock boost, 19.5PSI tappering to 17PSI).
I have previous base line/testing runs from this dyno see https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...t=MUSTANG+DYNO

The only added items since my last runs is the down pipe and MBC. It is difficult to say how much if any the down pipe adds, without swapping parts back and forth on back to back dyno runs. If I had to guess i would say maybe 4-5 hp, even with the down pipe and no cat the car is hardly louder than bone stock. I think the exhaust section after the cat is the most restrictive part of this exhaust (being replaced soon).
Even with the SAE correction, the higher temps do seem to reduce HP readings on this dyno. From morning to afternoon the temperature may have jumped as much as 20 degrees F that day, so ImportPEpE your car may not be down on power as much as your dyno pulls suggest.

Kind regards,

Eric

Man.....I drove over there and follow the yahoo map.....
And I can't find it!!!!!
But I saw a blue EVO III on the Virginia Pky.
Are u one of them?

Were you the guy in the black Lancer?

I also got lost too, thanks to the crappy Yahoo maps. Luckily, my sister was awake so I asked her to get the # for FIS, and called them up for directions. If it weren't for those directions, I wouldn't have gotten lost for 20-30 mins

Who's going to come out and use that horsepowah?
That sounds fun, but I'll be at THIS.

I'll probably stop by there on the way back and see who's left standing from the heat on the tarmac, hehe. Sportbiek hype does sessions there as well, but there sessions are set up to run as much as you can.

Have fun out there and bring LOTS of water! for you not the intercooler spray!

I have posted some additional FIS dyno runs I made this week after installing the Red Line fluids, I also upped the boost a little. Check it out.

Cory/Larry,

My brake pads and tires are almost worn out, but if you guy's are going to TMS soon, I would be interested. I may not be able to run all day but for $45 it doesn't really matter.

Larry has been busy with other issues this week and I haven't confirmed with him, but Sunday (7-20-2003) there is a track event at TMS and we should be there. Brice should be there as well. How many miles have you put on your A046s?

BTW stick an I in front of the C. It's Kory, heh.

Gentlemen, I don't know how active the SW forum is, but I posted a newbie question recently at:

Dealer Question?

Basically, I am looking for any recommended dealers in the area, as well as any folks are saying stay away from. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks!

It seems most people are getting their EVOs from Huggins Mitsu in North Richland Hills. Last I heard they were selling at $1000.00 under MSRP. I think there is another place in Houston selling EVOs at a good price but that requires a little more driving.
Peace
