Man that's crazy I had that exact amount of money a few months ago and was deciding what to do with it when I had my truck.

I ended up getting a cheap $1800 daily driver so I could garage my truck while I worked on it and in case something broke; and then I spent the rest on mods lol.

Good luck whatever you decide to do!

Man if I could go back and do it all over again.....I had a nice amount of money sitting in my bank account a couple of years ago from being overseas and had the opportunity of either getting stuff done to the Evo or purchasing another bike (06 Gixxer 750). I should've went with the bike...I love the Evo and all but man aint nothing like a bike when it comes to going fast, especially a Gixxer 750/1,000. All my bike friends hang their heads down low when I come pulling up to a get together in the Evo. Oh well, to live and learn.....I say go with the HTA turbo kit or max out the stocker and put the rest in savings for a while.

if all is good this coming year i'll be part time student and work full time along with some inheritance money i might be able to pay the 18k off i owe on the car and buy a bike , then again an 1800$ dd like a ford ranger would be nice...

so options so far
#1 screw paying stuff off mod the evo no bike = 7k for mods and work on paying it off

#2 bike =4-5k then work on paying off the evo

#3 pay off debt get the evo done by January or February

#4 get bike for 4-5k , get a dd for 1800, then work on paying off evo

either way i owe 18k on the evo which i need to refinance badly, i am currently bike less, but this next coming year will get anywhere from 15-20k from inheritance in which only 1200 will actually be used on school, along with working full time..... life is confusing outside of hs lol

so you just bought a bike like 6 months ago, you said you barely drove it, then you sold it, now you want to buy another?

the smart thing to do would be to pay off high interest debt, refinance the evo, and then start modding once its paid off. but we're evo owners, we don't ever do the smart thing
