No just went to the front of the car and looked at my front plate and where my inspection sticker was at. Also near south Austin the one's on the bikes ride along to do the same and see if you have your seatbelt on. 'at a red light'

Yea, most cops are trained to look at both from the outside. My point was, They don't know if the inspection sticker was assigned to that car without reading the handwriting on the rear of the sticker. I have heard of people getting an inspection sticker for one car, then swapping it into another.

I have the buschur unit, it is what you need... I will probably need it for the labor day weekend, but you can use it at any other time.

you're going to be screwed unless you find a hookup. they will hook up the machine to the OBD2 port, and if they get no data, it wont pass. what you need to do is find a place you can convince to use the sniffer test instead. if its tuned right, even without the cat, it ought to pass.

One shop did that...they used the sniffer instead but the car would not pass....the car is tuned right but still too rich compared to a normal car...I dont think an Evo with my mods could pass the sniffer period.
