wtb: mini battery kit
I don't know about locally, but this is the one I was looking at before I picked up an ETS: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=362672
1. Go to Advance Autoparts and get the motorcycle/ATV battery with a part number ETX14 on the box ($80). You will have to browse the batteries yourself, because the ETX14 number is not in their computer system. This battery is the same re-badged mini battery many companies charge 2-3x.
2. Pick up some hardware and aluminum bar at Home depot/Lowes.
Figure out how you want the battery situated. This battery is sealed and can be layed down. I opted to keep the same configuration as the stock battery so it could be returned to stock with no holes/missing parts.
EDIT: I did have to drill a small hole in the NEG cable to the car because this battery has bolt connectors instead of posts.

thanks! i've been reading around and i'm planning on doing that....the dude on here selling the trays also mentioned you can buy the posts for those so maybe i wouldn't have to do any drilling.
I found the mini batts online brand new for $102 I have heard you can get them as low as 80, but I haven't found them for any lower than $102..... it is not the orange one that everyone else has, it is a black one made by the same company with a different sticker.....

Happy to contribute to your car habit. I dropped my IC piping and mini battery kit pieces off at the powdercoater this morning to make them all pretty and matching. Will post pics when they are done.
in the thread i posted above he has a link to a place that sells the ext14 for some $70 shipped. its not the odyssey PC680, but it is half the price.
