e85 MPG...and woo hoo b*tches!
so here it is:
first three days of e85 i've been driving like a bat out of hell and have filled up at a quarter of a tank with about 170 miles on the odometer.
today and yesterday i tried this....
drive normal(the way the rest of the world drives...but not like an idiot
) about 65% of the time, and pedal on the floor(ie: racing, driving like a madman etc.) the other 35% of the time.
i have slightly more than a quarter tank left, at 198 miles. i will drive until the warning light comes on, then fill up and do the math for distance driven/gallons added. (of course im not going to run it bone dry)
I will have driven the rest by tomorrow afternoon and will post numbers(hopefully 20+)
on a side note: thanks kevin the tune rocks. i was driving slowly in first gear behind tommy tonight, he punched it in first gear, so then i did it...well it smoked all 4 tires LOL! ive never been able to do that before.

ok so here are the numbers:
11.4 gallons
209.9 miles
18.33 mpg
this is a combo of city driving, highway driving, and plenty of racing. all in all, not bad for only 2.71 a gallon

I just paid $5k out of pocket for my recently stolen and wrecked car to be fixed, all i need right now is something reliable to drive every day. the e85 probably wasnt such a smooth move b/c of the possible blend change.
maybe NOT the drag strip sometime, i have post traumatic stress disorder from blowing my clutch out from drag racing too much. im real strapped for money and really need to buy a AFC just incase the e85 blend changes. Its a smart idea for me to just wait till i have the new clutch money.
Let's see, things that arent hard on the transfer case or clutch are fine with me though, for instance, MSR, ill run you for times there
.... hush hush...or a street race from a roll shhhhhh hope the mods dont read this.
