Street Monkey: how'd you do this time out? Something closer to what you're used to?

this time I did better that the last time. This is my second event in the autocross field so with more practice I will get better. I was constant running 41s and 40, also I found out that I need better tires for this kind of events.

Well, you got 3rd place in Novice, so that's pretty good

You also got better each run which is better than I can say! You also need to figure something out about that rubbing, because that could cause bubbles on the sidewalls of the tires!

yes that 1 of the main reasons I have to change the tires.

Looks like ya'll had a good time. Wish I could have been there.

Well as far as points go, I still have a 7 point lead even after yesterday's results. So as long as I go to the last 2 events and don't do worse than 3rd place each time.. I'll be good to go. I wasn't planning on going to both of the last 2 events but now I have to!!

As for you, goofygrin, because your nearest competetors didn't show yesterday, you went from a 2 point lead to a nice 12 point lead. As long as you don't do worse than 6th place on the final 2 events, you've got a guaranteed end-of-year.

Yay for the Evos.

Actually as long as I show up for the next two events I win. Noone else has enough events to qualify (even with the next two).

W00t! Trophy for me (even though it's mostly a participation trophy, a trophy is a trophy lol).

Oh yeah. Good point. You just have to cross the finish line 1 time each day and register a time. You could run it in first gear at 3000 RPMs and still get a trohpy.

Now that I look at it, it's pretty much the same for me too! No one else in my class has participated in more than 3 events this eason.

woohoo!

Put Dec 6th on your calendar then. That's when the end of year dinner and trophy giveaway is.
